Bio

A self-described art school drop-out, Jeff left Northeast Ohio at the age of 17, and moved to Pittsburgh to attend the Art Institute with the intention of majoring in commercial art.  Instead of studying and drawing toasters, he joined a hardcore punk band with his friends which led to a series of punk rock designs for his band Half Life, and other local as well as national bands. He created flyers, t-shirts, album covers, stickers and buttons. His easily recognizable work could be seen stapled, glued, taped, and sewn to just about everything in the tri-state area. After four years in the U.S. Army Infantry, stationed in Germany, he returned to Ohio.  Following encouragement from his friends, he started doing artwork for bands again. Since then he has done fanzine covers, CD covers, t-shirts, stickers and numerous flyers for local and national shows and events.  He employs old school methods that include hand-lettering, sketches, and half-tone press type.  The results are best described as Lichtenstein meets Ed "Big Daddy" Roth with a twist of raw punk! He had his first solo exhibition in July, 2006 at Square Records in Akron.

Jeff is a lifelong fan and collector of punk rock music and Japanese toys.  He is currently the front man for the Akron based hardcore punk band, You Have Ten Seconds To Unfuck Yourself!
